Heather read a powerful letter on the show this morning. It was from someone who grew up in an environment of dependency and became addicted to alcohol at age THIRTEEN! It was also a letter of delivery, and of hope.
Afterwards, we had several calls from people who had seen loved ones miraculously delivered through the power of prayer. One caller recommended a church called God’s Light Shining, that specializes in recovery, others pointed out the number of Tulsa-area churches that participate in the Celebrate Recovery programs…
The point of all the testimonies we heard this morning was this- if you, or loved ones, are struggling with addiction, be encouraged and continue to pray. We serve a powerful and merciful God!
“My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness…” (2 Corinthians 12:9-10)
