…So do most parents who are choosy about what their kids see and hear from mainstream movie releases. Sometimes, it’s just flat-out hard to find movies that fall within your ‘family-friendly’ guidelines! Or, you find one that’s pretty good, otherwise, but the occasional crude language forces you to cross it off your list…
We talked with parents on the show this morning and picked up some pretty good tips.
Family friendly movie reviews let you know what to expect, before you rent! Here are a couple of sites that were mentioned favorably:
For language on TV shows and TV movies:
- TV Guardian (Maybe for internet movies soon. Sign the petition on their site!)
And, for DVDs, a filtering service that can remove crude language AND scenes of excessive violence, or other adult-content:
