In the 1st chapter of James, we are told that ‘looking after the orphans and widows in their distress…’ is pleasing to God. (http://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=James+1%3A27&version=NIV)
Well, there are more and more opportunities to do that, unfortunately, and we talked about Christians who are getting involved and answering that call… (see audio below)
If you have a heart for kids who need homes, please consider adopting or fostering. If that’s not possible, then find an organization that ministers to orphans and support them with your money or time. God will be pleased… –Kevin
