The hungry, homeless and at-risk men, women and children need YOUR help this holiday season!
RIGHT NOW, THE MISSION NEEDS DONATIONS OF FROZEN TURKEYS AS WELL AS OTHER THANKSGIVING FOOD ITEMS (SEE LIST BELOW).
The Mission will be providing up to 5,000 Thanksgiving Baskets (for struggling families), as well as feeding over 2,500 meals to the homeless over Thanksgiving. In all, the Mission will need 88,000 pounds of food (that’s 44 tons!). With your help, we know the need will be met. There will be volunteers with bins at the stores to collect the items you purchase. If you wish, you may also purchase the items at your convenience and deliver to:
- Mission Shelter — 506 N. Cheyenne Ave., in downtown Tulsa.
- Mission Family & Youth Center — 2027 N. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd.
- Under the Sun Garden Center — 91st & Sheridan
Here is what is needed:
Frozen turkeys, stuffing, instant potatoes, gravy mix, mac & cheese, canned sweet potatoes, canned corn, canned green beans, canned fruit, cranberry sauce, pie filling or Jell-O. 2020 Food Drives for John 3:16 Mission. The food will be collected at each of the following stores from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Please deposit your contribution in the bins on the way out of the stores. Thanks!
