Losing a spouse can be devastating, whether the death is sudden or following a long illness. People who are widowed haven’t just lost a loved one — they’ve lost an entire lifestyle. This two-hour GriefShare workshop features a short video followed by small group discussion. Also included is a light brunch and a participant guide which offers practical strategies, exercises and encouraging words to help you work through the effects and challenges of grief in a healthy way. Asbury’s Family Room. All widows and widowers are welcome! No cost.

Looking for a career you can feel good about and have an impact on future generations? Kelly Education is having a Substitute Hiring Event. Come and learn more about becoming a substitute teacher in the Tulsa area. No degree, no experience? No problem, we offer training. The minimum education requirement is a high school diploma or its equivalent. If the position is the right fit, come prepared to be hired by bringing proof of education and proper I-9 employment eligibility documentation (for example: Driver’s License and Social Security Card), and expect the process to take about 1.5-2 hours. We are hiring for over 100 open positions!
