Grilled Cheese!

I like my grilled cheese sandwiches burned. (I also like my sandwiches burnt…I googled it and both are actually grammatically correct! Yay! You get to pick!!)

Anyway, ignore the dark toasting if you prefer it lighter, but the insides, that’s what I wanna talk about! I added spinach AND strawberries to my grilled cheese sandwich! I felt like I was on an episode of some cooking show where they make you use surprise ingredients. I used swiss cheese too, because I was just feeling crazy that day! :) I looked around a little on line to see if other people were doing this too and some people use goat cheese or brie. Mmmm. I’ve tried really thin apple slices before in the past and it was pretty good too. The key to the construction is having a slice of cheese on either side. It sort of held it all together.
